As a novel strategy within Taiwan's early childhood education policy framework, the quasi-public policy has not been subject to extensive investigation, especially concerning the levels of identity and satisfaction among early childhood education and care (ECEC) service providers from diverse backgrounds and institutional types. This research domain holds significant value for comprehending the current state of policy execution and suggesting avenues for prospective amendments. This study concentrates on ECEC service providers in New Taipei City as the target sample group. Employing the Preschool education quasi-public policy identity and satisfaction survey questionnaire in New Taipei City as the instrument for data collection, this research successfully gathered 386 valid responses. The analysis of the collected data was executed using SPSS software, yielding the following findings: 1. The general consensus on policy identity and satisfaction levels with the quasi-public policy among ECEC service providers across various kindergarten types in New Taipei City leans towards neutrality. 2. Notable disparities are observed in the satisfaction levels with the quasi-public policy among ECEC service providers in New Taipei City, which are influenced by various ages, educational backgrounds, employment statuses, types of preschool, and authorized enrollment capacity. 3. The extent of policy identity positively correlates with satisfaction levels. |
