With the assurance of indigenous peoples' rights and the momentum of indigenous cultural revival efforts, research on indigenous knowledge has gradually gained attention from both indigenous communities and academia. Presently, indigenous knowledge policies in Taiwan primarily emphasize school education. Simultaneously, scholars in leisure tourism studies also recognize that indigenous tourism activities can facilitate cross-cultural communication and mutual understanding among ethnic groups, thereby contributing to cultural education. However, there is a dearth of research investigating the potential of tourism as a platform for the inheritance of indigenous knowledge from the perspective of tourism studies on Taiwanese indigenous cultural heritage, cultural sustainability, and tourism. Therefore, this study aims to explore how indigenous peoples demonstrate their worldview and knowledge content in daily tourism activities, guiding external tribal tourists to immerse themselves in and better understand the content of indigenous knowledge, drawing from the experiences of cultural tourism workers of the Tsou communities in Alishan. |
