Taiwan's design, digital and cultural creativity fields have developed rich and multiple characteristics, and are regarded as the next-generation industries for technological innovation and services, especially in virtual reality(VR)and augmented reality(AR)in combination with the application. Although many innovative applications of VR and AR on the market are successful, however, most of the cases still focus on entertainment-related interactive experiences and have not developed VR and AR into a more comprehensive application and innovation. In addition, under the influence of the recent epidemic, the bricks and mortar stores of many home appliances have been greatly affected, and users prefer to contact physical products have begun to reduce the number of visits to the stores, but the existing online malls cannot meet the needs of users who prefer to contact physical products. Therefore, how to find new product experiences and display service methods has become a critical research topic and future trend as well. The features of VR/AR can help users experience the content of home appliances more intuitively and efficiently, and multimode interaction to access the viewing and actual operation of products, it can also break through the space, location, and time limits. We reviewed 24 pieces of literature on the development and application of VR/AR/MR and organized and analyzed trends in terms of VR, AR, and MR technology development. The possibility of a new product experience and a service approach is close to seeing the actual product for users who purchase home appliances and want to experience them. |
