Laos’Struggle for Independence

我們首先將簡單回顧寮國的早期歷史，然後瞭解暹羅如何支配、以及越南的控制，接著檢視法國的殖民統治，再來考察在二次世界大戰期間，日本的介入、以及泰國的佔地，進一步探究寮國在獨立後的內戰，最後以捲入美國的越戰結尾。

We shall start with a brief review of Laos’early history. Next, we shall manage to understand how Siam dominated the land and how Vietnam wrested control of its neighbor. Further, we shall look into how France colonized this landlocked country. We then examine how Japan was instrumental in settling Thai land disputes with Laos during World War II. Moreover, we will scrutinize the Laotian civil war after independence. Finally, we will conclude with an explotation of its involvent in the Vietnam War.
