The author explores three dimensions and proposes three aesthetic viewpoints of Wang Fu-ji in“The review and collections of antique poems”. First, the essence of poem is the integration of the written words and the music. Second, the creation of poems origins from the expression impulses of emotions and the criteria of good poems are those which content are inclusive of both the emotion and the scenery. Third, the aesthetic viewpoints of Wang Fu-ji is the appreciation of the ‘spirit and aroma’ in the poem. Finally, the author also makes comments on the Wang Fu-ji's implications of both the aesthetics of Confucianism and Taoism. |
