Property workers play a crucial role in property operations. To gauge the occupational safety and health awareness among property workers, this study designed a questionnaire to investigate the current state of awareness within the property management industry. Based on the survey results, relevant improvement strategies are proposed. The research reveals that property workers lack comprehensive plans and arrangements for occupational safety and health education and training. They possess limited knowledge of workplace hazards and exposure factors and inadequately address unlawful infringements without proper feedback. The implementation of protective equipment is not thorough, and property workers do not receive comprehensive measures for physical and mental health protection. Moreover, effective control measures for maternal health hazards in the workplace are lacking. Therefore, this study suggests improvement measures for these issues. Recommendations include the implementation of policies to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and the strengthening of capability and training for occupational safety and health management by property employers. Additionally, the study proposes the identification, analysis, and evaluation of hazards and risks in activity and work areas, continual improvement of workplace safety, reduction of accident and injury risks, and timely and reasonable adjustments to preventive and corrective measures to enhance the overall occupational safety and health standards in the property management industry. |
