After independence in 1965, Singapore quickly transformed into one of the wealthy“Four Asian Tigers”by relying on its“economic and trade policy”and“talent”advantages without natural resources. Due to its progress in various aspects and its excellent environmental security, it has received relatively higher attention internationally. Singapore is the first choice for holding various international events, and Singapore is also given priority for economic and trade investment. In view of this, this article will conduct an in-depth discussion of Singapore’s political environment, challenges faced by major powers, military security, survival and development, etc. through the content of relevant documents, official information from Singapore, and long-term research and observation by everyone, so that readers can better understand Singapore’s survival strategies and external relations.
