In promoting women's employment, Japanese companies' overall willingness to hire women has gradually increased. The main reasons include Japan facing an extreme labor shortage, with female talent being an important supplement. Additionally, women's overall education levels have risen, equipping them with sufficient work capabilities. Women's strengths of being steady and responsible in their work attitudes are also factors. At the same time, companies actively set targets and strategies to enable women to work with peace of mind in the company and increase their combat capabilities and contributions in order to obtain government re-employment subsidies and tax incentive policies. This research first analyzes the current situation of Japan's female labor force. Afterwards, through the priority policy content for promoting women's empowerment and gender equality participation formulated by the Japanese Cabinet Office in 2023, the study aims to understand its strategies. The Japanese government has formulated relevant regulations and annually reviews and adjusts the strategies to promote women's employment in a rolling manner. This effectively enhances both the "quality and quantity" of women entering the workforce, allowing the female labor force to exert a positive influence on companies. This proactive strategy and approach are worthy of exploration, hoping that the research results can serve as a reference for Taiwan in promoting women's employment. |
