This thesis intends to explore deeply the image of '' girl '' in WEI-JING LEE writing, and breaks '' girl '' out of the context of ''youth writing'', regarding ''girl'' as a kind of ''identity'' that is not limited by age and flow. In the texts of WEI-JING LEE, ''girl'' appear in various forms, sometimes as delicate ''princess'', sometimes as magical ''witches'', even sometimes as ''city girls'' full of female power, and sometimes as the ''old school girl'' who want to return to the old era. In this thesis, I will analyze the universal of the typical images of ''girl'' that frequently appear in the works of WEI-JING LEE. Furthermore, how did WEI-JING LEE use different representations and metaphors of girl to shape the identity of girl under the competition with society culture and herself?To conclude, I hope to use WEI-JING LEE as an example to try to summarize the prospect of '' shojo research '' belonging to Taiwan. |
