Japan subculture has strong impact on Taiwan for a long time. With Internet and new technology distributions, students are easy to access and acquire media texts or any resources they like. Among these media texts, comic is the most popular media text for students. There have been many media literacy studies on the field of newspapers, dramas and magazines reading. However, there is little research study on the comic literacy or only focusing on teaching students on how to draw comics, lacking of teaching students on comic literacy programs. Thus the purposes of this study were described as below: 1. Applying ADDIE model to develop the teaching program of comic literacy. 2. Implementing this program to improve students' abilities on comic literacy. The findings were described as below: 1. By applying ADDIE model, the researcher successfully develops the teaching program of comic literacy improving students' abilities on comic reproduction, access and organization. 2. After implementing this teaching program, students can be improved their abilities on comic reproduction, access and organization, especially in the area of comic organization. |
