The present study was to investigate whether different color patterns and indicator design used for digital learning materials may have different influence on learners’visual focus and information acceptance when learning with the particular digital learning materials within animation. In order to understand learners’perceptions and learning outcomes of the digital learning materials, qualitative research methodology was used for this study. A class of Year Five primary school students served as research subjects within this study. The research approach included experiments on digital learning materials with animation, interviews, and pre- and post-tests. Findings showed that gray patterns and prompt indicator design used for digital learning materials could result in the superior eye focus and improving memory of learning materials. |
