This article used document analysis method to explore and analyze the higher education institutions, the development of quality assurance of higher educational in the United Kingdom. Besides, this article also explored the development and content of Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in the United Kingdom. Based on these findings, some suggestions are provided as following: First, quality assurance of higher education should relate to the purpose of excellent teaching and learning outcome. Second, we should use methods in line with local circumstances of external evaluation system, and to improve the quality assurance of higher education institutions. Third, we should integrate internal evaluation with external evaluation system effectively for the purpose of quality assurance. As a result, these suggestions are provided for school leaders and policy making. |
