This research is based on the foundations and fundamental concepts of Food and Agricultural Education promoted by the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, and the orientation of core competence of the Curriculum Guidelines of 12 Year Basic Education. De signing from the diversity of Taiwan Food and Agriculture Education, the interdisciplinary curriculum and instruction combines with locavore, carbon footprint, water footprint, young people returning to the hometown and engaged in agriculture, and field ex periential teaching in farming. By adopting the content analysis and semi structured interview methods to explore the process of learning for teaching and practice on a metropolitan primary school that implementing Food and Agriculture Education cooperativ e program. The purposes are: 1 To review the curriculum design on Food and Agriculture Education conforming with the 12 year Curriculum Guidelines, 2 To analyze the implementation of Food and Agriculture Education and countermeasure of future dilemma, 3 To share the outcome and reflection on implementation of Food and Agriculture Education. At length the conclusions of the research are: (1) Review of curriculum planning and instructional design, (2) Dilemma of curriculum implementation and proposals (3) Positive outcome of cooperative program, (4) Reflection of the implementation on Food and Agriculture Education cooperative program. Furthermore, the recommendations of“going along with accomplishments, going along with experts, going along with co mmunities, and going along with life”are provided as reference for subsequent promotion on Food and Agriculture Education for higher education and education related institutions. |
