The main purpose of this article is to discuss the study of Hidden Curriculum from Social Critical Theory’s perspectives. First, the origins of the ideas and the main issues of Social Critical Theory will be introduced. Secondly, the meanings and the research origins of Hidden Curriculum will be explained. Thirdly, the influences of Social Critical Theory on Hidden Curriculum will be discussed. Finally, the reflections on the current school─school environment will be developed from Social Critical Theory’s perspectives in order to establish a fair and rational school─education environment. |
