身境與隱喻觀點中的創意

An Embodied, Embedded and Metaphorical Perspective on Creativity

本文提出一項聯合身境觀點與隱喻分析模式的研究取徑，去探究設計與創意。文中分析了四項設計產品――世上最深的垃圾桶、鋼琴樓梯、夢想球與通話手鐲，以此檢視所提的聯合取徑，並說明「創意設計即生活選擇」的觀念，而循此呈現一種簡約的、值得品味的設計風格與概念，以及貼近生活脈絡的創意內涵。

We propose a metaphor-based and embodied-embedded view of creativity. Four designed products - The World’s Deepest Bin, Piano Staircase, Dream Ball, and Dial - are examined and used as illustrative examples for the approach. There are several attractive features of these examples that are sufficient to yield interesting results and lead to an idea of creative design as lifestyle choice, based on which we recommend a minimalist design concept and a cultivated sense of creativity in everyday life.
