In recent years, with the rapid changes in the social and economic environment, and affected by transnational marriages and the low birth rate, the new immigrants have become one of the important groups in Taiwan. In response to the educational issues of new immigrants and their children, the ministry of education promoted the four-year " New Immigrants Education Advancement Project " from 2016 to 2019. This research applied the document analysis to understand the development background, current situation and implementation strategy of the education policy for new immigrants. In order to explore the implementation direction of this plan and the corresponding situation of cross-cultural shock adaptation. Based on the theory of cross-cultural adaptation, the implementation strategy of the plan is discussed, analyze whether the project execution strategy corresponds to its culture shock and adaptation difficulties. Based on the findings, this study provides three suggestions for the educational authorities. |
