Internet has become part of the lives of children and youths. Although the online world brings many benefits, online dangers and even various forms of online gender-based violence are also growing. To protect students from online gender-based violence, countries have developed effective practices and classroom resources for schools to work together against this modern form of violence. Given that there are many good practices that Taiwan can learn from other countries, this article reviews educational resources from Australia, Canada and a transnational project funded by the European Union and synthesizes research findings to provide recommendations to improve Taiwan’s online gender-based violence prevention education. |
