Over the recent years, Taiwan’s industry has been actively promoting Internet to foster the rapid development and crisscrossing integration of information technology, which will lead to the multiplication and dissemination of knowledge. The study aimed to probe into the development of knowledge management of educational institutions, analyze the meanings of knowledge and management in the knowledge management of educational institutions, and how they promote the measures and practice of knowledge and management. Last but not the least, the study concluded with the author’s reflection upon the perception of knowledge and management of educational institutions in the era of knowledge-based economy. Educational institutions laid the precise foundation of philosophy and management, and when they were adopted mutually, they could elaborate the efficacy, integration and consistency of knowledge to achieve the goal of learning organization, satisfy the appeal of educational institutions regarding the inheritance, development and innovation of pedagogy, and bear the mission of facing the impact in the era of knowledge-based economy. Additionally, the study provided a theoretical base and inspiration for implementation for Taiwan’s educational institutions when they conduct knowledge reform and innovation. |
