This project uses the warehouse logistics management system developed by the logistics center of our hospital, Nursing stations use this system to handle the inventory, expiration date and batch number of medical devices, reduce expired products. By using the PDA system, the pricing will complete in real time and synchronize the deduction of inventory. Staff directly complete the accounting when taking the medical devices, reducing the accounting omission and errors when patient discharged. Manage medical devices efficiently and effectively in ward. Ensure the validity of medical devices and ensure patient safety. Adopt a mobile warehouse logistics management system to locate and visually apply to the management of medical devices at the nursing station. Staff will scan the QR code of medical devices to check the inventory, pricing, and replenishment. To control the inventory and reduce the errors of omission in accounting. Daily time spent for nursing staff to check the inventory during three shift reduced from 36 minutes to 15 minutes. Daily time spent for clerk to check the inventory reduced from 30 minutes to 0 minutes. Daily time spent for checking account reduced from 30 minutes to 15 minutes. After the implementation of this project, it reduced the time spent on shifts to check the inventory and improved staff efficiency and satisfaction.
