The purpose of this study was to explore the current status, difference and correlation between the parenting attitudes of applying the positive psychological traits of preschool children's mothers in Taiwan and their children's social behaviors. The research method adopts the questionnaire survey method with 1256 valid questionnaires. The participants of this study included preschoolers of aged 3 to 6 years and their mothers. The findings of this study were: The parenting attitude of applying the positive psychological traits of preschool children's mothers in Taiwan showed a high level; the social behavior performance of preschool children in Taiwan showed a medium-high level; the parenting attitude of applying the positive psychological traits of mothers of preschool children had significantly different on the backgrounds of mother's occupation, number of children, total monthly household income and age of the children; the social behaviors of preschool children had significantly different on the backgrounds of mother's occupation, education level, total monthly household income, and the child's age, child's sex, family type, and family residential area. In addition, the parenting attitude of applying the positive psychological traits of preschool children's mothers in Taiwan and their children's social behaviors showed a significantly positive correlation. |
