This study aimed to investigate the in-service training situation of caregivers by baby care centers in Taichung City. 10% of caregivers in Baby Care-Centers from 6 districts in Taichung City totally 92 were involved. Using self-developed questionnaire are data collected, and the results are as follows: 1. Only 22.8% of the caregivers participated in each type of in-service-training courses; 2. there were significant differences in gender, degree, seniority, dimension and region, except age, title and type of institution (public and private). In conclusion, this study suggests: 1. to build classification course systems, 2. to establish systematical evaluations of the qualities of courses and teachers, and 3. to provide more and flexible courses. |
