Diabetic foot ulcer is one of the common complications of diabetic patients. Due to peripheral arterial disease and neuropathy, foot wounds are difficult to aware, leading to infection, gangrene and even amputation. However, wounds after amputation of diabetic patients will affect the quality of life of patients and increase medical costs for a long time, so wound care is very important. Negative pressure wound therapy is a relatively new non-intrusive adjuvant therapy. It can promote wound healing, reduce infection rate of wound, reduce the frequency and discomfort of wound dressing changes, and shorten the length of hospital stay. Therefore, I would like to explore the effect of negative pressure wound therapy in promote wound healing of diabetic foot through empirical literature. It is hoped that appropriate interventions can be found to promote wound healing and improve the quality of life of patients. |
