Classic Literature and Board Game Design is a creative and innovative course that the researcher spent a lot of effort to develop over the past two years. Because students of science and technology universities are less interested in literature courses using traditional teaching methods, they have higher willingness to try this type of cross-domain literary course. Therefore, this course was very popular among students. After the teaching experiments in the 2018 and 2019 academic years, the researcher found that the combination of "Classic Literature" and "Board Game Design" was useful. However, when students presented their final work, some students could not effectively explain the board games they made. This is undoubtedly a problem that must be solved at the teaching site. In this project, the researcher redesigns the "Classic Literature and Board Game Design" course and sets the theme as a “Teaching Practice Research on the Integration of Spoken Expression Training into Classic Literature and Board Game Design Microcredit Course”. The main purpose of the project is to enhance the students' oral expression skills in addition to the students' interest in learning and creativity in relation to board games. In sum, the project will redesign the content of the "Classic Literature and Board Game Design" course. The course will focus on creative practice in the first semester and enhance oral expression in the second semester. After integrating the "spoken expression training" into the course, this study will explore whether this change can promote the learning outcomes of students and improve the quality of teaching. |
