In 2020, the global unemployment rate was affected by the spread of COVID-19, and the employment situation of the indigenous people was more disadvantaged than general population. Although the country has put forward a plan for immediate employment with ease, it is still a short-term employment. The research purpose of this article is to face the economic downturn caused by the epidemic, the employment policy of the indigenous people should be the direction of the country in Taiwan. This article is based on the 'Survey on the Employment Status of Indigenous Peoples in the Republic of China in 2020', only to reveal the factual data obtained from the results of the survey, and attempts to sort out practical and academic issues worthy of discussion. Besides, According to the survey results, the “Inequality of Indigenous Employment”, “Indigenous Employment in the Time of COVID-19”, “Job Opportunities of Indigenous People” and “Occupational injury of Indigenous” that are extracted from the survey results still need to be improved. This article proposes: First, guarantee the basic salary of the hometown care work. Second, investigate employment intentions before leaving the field for short-term employment, provide future curriculum planning and referrals to employment counseling matchmaking. Third, encourage the aboriginal tribes to develop long-term care industries. Fourth, develop tribal culture and business economy through the Internet, and open up new employment opportunities for indigenous people. Fifth, the state assists indigenous people to obtain construction technology licenses. Sixth, the business matching of the elderly aboriginals in the plan. |
