本研究以日文圖文書《開心做家事》為翻譯評析的題材。由於該書中插圖較多,在文字描述上日文原文的省略表現也較明顯。本研究試圖藉由圖文書的翻譯,檢視該如何克服中、日文語言在「省略」表達形式上的差異。 本研究的分析共分為兩大部分,第一部分先探討本書中文譯本的專業譯者在翻譯過程中,採用何種策略詮釋日文中的「省略表現」;第二部分則藉由專業譯者和大四學生的譯文比較,歸納兩者的翻譯策略之差異,並探討日文系大四生在進行此類翻譯時,所產生的種種翻譯問題,為日後翻譯教學提出相關建議。 The material used for translation analyses in this study is a Japanese illustrated book titled “KIMOCHI NO II KURASHI”. Because there are many illustrations in the book, the use of omitting in the original Japanese text is rather obvious. This study aims to explore the ways to overcome the differences in “omitting” words between the Japanese text and the Chinese translated version of the illustrated book. This study contains two major analysis sections. The first section explores the strategies the professional translator of the Chinese version of the book used to deal with the omitting in the Japanese text. The second section compares the translations by the professional translator and the senior students, summarizes the differences in translation strategies between them, and discusses the translation-related problems in order to come up with some relevant suggestions as references for teaching translation in the future. |
