Among the International Relationship Theories, Constructivism sees the enact of foreign policy as the choice of actor and also emphasizes the importance of international structure. This essay analyzes thee Thailand foreign policies with China by adopting Constructivism. It finds the Thailand foreign policies with China is not the 'power balance of Egocentrism' from new liberalism and new realism, rather, it is the result from 'the definition of International Political Structure under the common views in society'. Recent 30 years, the Thailand foreign policies toward China are affected by the structure of international environment and the interaction within society-The Thailand policy toward China is supported by the physical power and society power as well. This situation is explained by Constructivism and therefore, constructivism is the suitable analysis model for the Thailand foreign policy toward China. |
