From the 10-year long-term care plan in 2007, to the implementation of the long-term care 2.0 policy in 2017 to 2022, Taiwan has experienced 15 years of development of long-term care service. Indigenous peoples have been excluded from long-term care policies and services. In 2021, through the forum organized by the Taiwan Indigenous Long-term Care Service Rights Promotion Association, the opinions of the indigenous long-term care workers in six counties and cities were collected. Indigenous people were faced with the several obstacles in long-term care service and indigenous cultural and health station. The study uses the framework of cultural safety assessment to analyze these issue and provided clear policy recommendations. |
