Delivering accurate health information and helping people develop healthy lifestyles are two important responsibilities of a nurse. In nursing education, there is no formal curriculum that systematically cultivates students’abilities to assist others in adopting healthy habits. This article examines the course design and implementation of an elective course titled 'Presentation in Healthcare Profession”which aims to enhance nursing students’communicative competence, and explores challenges encountered by students and teachers alike in the process. Based on the findings, researchers provide strategies and recommendations for designing related courses which will equip nursing students with better health guidance ability in the future. |
