The purpose of this study is to investigate the intergenerational learning curriculum in the senior learning centers in Taiwan. Using the document analysis method, this study first discusses the background, meaning and function of intergenerational learning. Also, this study describes the current situation of the intergenerational learning curriculum in the senior learning centers in Taiwan. In addition, the related theories on intergenerational learning and the researches on intergenerational programs are discussed. Based on these theories and programs, this study then further analyzes the problems of the intergenerational learning curriculum in the senior learning centers. Finally, this study puts forward five suggestions for senior learning centers to promote intergenerational learning courses in the future. |
