In the technical and vocational education, elementary and junior high schools’ technology domain courses have functions similar to Career Exploration and Experience Education Center. This paper adopts Content Analysis Method to comparative analysis Curriculum Guidelines of 12-Year Basic Education for vocational high school, the Learning Content of 15 occupation groups have high correlation with Curriculum Guidelines of 12-Year Basic Education for thematic focus of technology course learning content. After in-depth analysis of the connections between the technology course in elementary and junior high schools and technical and vocational education, through classifying the thematic of learning content by Maker Education and Technology Center. Corresponding to the degree of relevance of the above-mentioned occupational groups, in conformity with the results. In the specific industrial occupational groups have high correlation with the technology course in elementary and junior high schools. Based on this result, discuss the function and role for career exploration of technology courses in elementary and junior high schools. |
