Museums are institutions that exist for society and social development. With the global commitment to sustainable development, in recent years, there have been many discussions and actions on sustainable management in the world of museums at home and abroad. Among the four functions of the museum, 'exhibitions' are the main way for a museum to communicate with its audience, and it is also one of the important products of the museum. In the exhibition design and production, a large number of different materials and construction methods are used. Proactive implementation of the concept of sustainability and the design, reduction, recycling and reuse of green displays is an important issue in the development of museum exhibitions. Taking the National Science and Technology Museum as an example, this paper discusses the implementation plan of the Green Exhibit Certification that the museum has implemented for more than ten years, and puts forward comprehensive views and suggestions on its significance, evaluation standards and current implementation status. |
