The thesis delves into how new curriculum successfully promotes the development of innovative courses in senior high school. Take Taichung Municipal Chungming Senior High School as an example. After Ministry of Education issued Curriculum Guidelines of 12-Year Basic Education on November 28th, 2014, Chungming took this opportunity to flip the classroom, making teachers collaborate with one another so as to bring out the full potential and value. By connecting teachers, students, parents, alumni, community partners, and each and every person who cared about school, step by step, Chungming established a blueprint exclusively for its students. Through innovative approaches to course design, collaboration with universities, and the utilization of social resources or external assistance, Chungming developd brand new Diversified Elective Courses, School-developed Required Courses and Self-directed Learning Model. |
