"The purpose of this study is to exam the moderating role of personality on the relationship between career plateauing and job satisfaction, as well as its sub-dimensions, job content plateauing and hierarchical plateauing. A total of 110 questionnaires were collected to analyze from employees of an optronics company in Taiwan. The results indicated that Career Plateauing and its sub-dimensions, Job Content Plateauing and Hierarchical Plateauing, were significantly associated with Job Satisfaction, and its subdimensions, Internal Job Satisfaction and External Job Satisfaction. As for the effect of personality, this study found that “Openness to Experience” had significantly moderating effects on the relationship between Career Plateauing and Internal Job Satisfaction; and on the relationship between Job Content Plateauing and Internal Job Satisfaction." |
