"The purpose of this article is to introduce the current situation and development of gifted education in Taichung City. This article first summarizes the development of gifted education services and education administration in Taichung City before the merger of county and city. The identification of gifted student and curriculum as well teaching is also taking in discussion. In which the status of gifted student identification, gifted curricula and program review, inspection of individual educational plan, teacher's training and R&D promotion are in-depth explored. Finally, the development dilemma of gifted education in Taichung city from the uneven development and support system is discussed." |
