"This study tried to draw the outline of three highly gifted students' families and construct their family experience. By telling their growing-up stories including their family atmosphere, significant events, interaction of family members and concepts of parenting highly gifted children. Findings revealed their growing-up environment which filled with intimacy, concern and respect. They also experienced several similar events includes their first highly intellectual performance, be identified a gifted and how they suffered from their perfectionism, sense of responsibility and excellent ability. Furthermore, I described their family activities and how to improve relationship between child and parents." |
