"The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of junior high school resource teachers' emotional labor and job burnout in Taoyuan city, to compare the differences of teachers' attitude among different background variables, and to explore the relationship between emotional labor and job burnout. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire was utilized to collect data. Three hundred junior high school resource teachers of Taoyuan city in the 109th academic year were given the questionnaire, and 294 of them were effective. The descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation were applied to analyze the received data. To summarized the results and discussions, the main findings of this study were as follows: 1. The status of junior high school resource teachers' emotional labor in Taoyuan city was mid high, the status of job burnout was mid low. 2. Age and special education background produced significant average differences in resource teachers' emotional labor. 3. Age, special education background, and years of seniority produced significant differences in resource teachers' job burnout. 4. A low negative correlation was observed between junior high school resource teachers' emotional labor and job burnout in Taoyuan city." |
