Among modern poets in Taiwan, Du Ye has two identities as a poet and a scholar. As a scholar, he not only specializes in the study of modern poetry, but also studies classical poetry. He has published a variety of works on modern poetry and classical poetry. However, in the study of Du Ye, most of them focused on the discussion of poetry, and there are few analyses on his poetry. This article systematically deals with Du Ye's poetry through four perspectives: essentialism, creative methodology, poetry appreciation, and function theory. The text proposes the main imagery theory, the rhetoric method of writing a sentence, the appreciation criticism of the creator's point of view, and the social function theory of realistic consciousness, and analyzes the poetic discourse from the content to the form level. It can be found that Du Ye's own creation can indeed practice his poetic theory at the same time, forming a fusion and superposition of poetic theory and creation, resulting in enlightenment and speculation. |
