Between Life and Death: the time description of Scale Insects by YangMu

楊牧藉由詩作探索自我在時空中的位置及生命根源的企圖相當明晰，他的詩作經常以自我生命追尋為原點，進一步對「他者／他物」參照，發現抽象與拔高的生命價值。本文就楊牧收錄於《介殼蟲》詩集中進行觀察，從「時序及天體運行的時間觀察」、「他者及他物的生命觀察」幾個部分進行討論。可看見楊牧如何對時間及生命世界產生各種「好奇」及想像，並用精確而深邃的比喻呈現出來，可從《介殼蟲》中看見其對生命的想像及探索，對時間的觀察與自我表述，同時也能更察覺到楊牧詩作的藝術及思想價值。

YangMu's intention to explore his own position in time, space and the beginning of life by poetry is clear. His poems often take life journey as the start point, searching for the abstract higher life value by reference of ''the others.'' This study employs YangMu’s Scale Insects as the study object, discussing several issues from ''time observation of time sequence and celestial'' and ''life observation of the others.'' The study presents YangMu's curiosity and imagination of time and life, and how he describes them by precise metaphor. Scale Insects unfold YangMu's imagination and exploration of life, time observation and self-description, and the value of art and thoughts of YangMu's poetry.
