科技日新月異，近年來許多話題圍繞著電子書與紙本書之差異，也提到電子漫畫的興起，漫畫作為最受歡迎的閱讀類型之一，必然成為討論的其中一大主題。本研究主要在探討電子漫畫書發展的過程與大眾的看法，透過問卷調查並以個人的觀點，實際研究閱讀者觀看漫畫的習慣與喜好。探討了關於漫畫的歷史發展與為何想研究電子漫畫書發展的研究動機，因為從小便有接觸漫畫的經驗，而我也是經歷了閱讀方式改朝換代的讀者，回想起從前對於紙本漫畫的愛好，與現今對於電子漫畫書的看法，想將兩者結合並提出個人想法與問題，供觀看本研究的讀者能一起探討因應科技的變化導致閱讀習慣改變的原因與結果，並設計出研究架構與流程，深入研究與本主題相關的許多因素。
