In recent years, the government has promoted cultural and creative industries that intrigue the public to visit art exhibitions and performances meeting international standards. At the same time, however, the problem of lacking high standard art spaces is exposed. In the light of the problem, the governments, central and local, usually plan to hold international competition to build high quality art spaces with the function of promoting tourism and boosting international visibility. Nevertheless, due to the consideration of construction budget, it is hard to attract outstanding international groups to join the competition. To compromise the problem of excellent designs, budget and law, the author probes into the issue and provides suggestions. |
