「渝關」考論

A Textual Research of Ancient Yuguan

渝關是隋唐時期始設的用來抵禦東北少數部族寇侵的重要關隘，隋唐以降很多重要的歷史事件皆與之相關。本文將就渝關的沿革、渝關與山海關之關係、文獻中與渝關相關的里程記載以及渝關周邊的山川地貌等諸方面進行細緻討論，試辨明歷來以山海關為古渝關之訛誤，進而對於渝關在不同朝代的所處位置給出一較為合理之解釋。

Yuguan is an important pass to withstand the northeastern minorities since the Sui and Tang dynasties, and afterwards, a number of significant historical events are relevant with Yuguan. This paper will in detail discuss Yu guan's evolution, the relationship between it and Shanhai Pass, the mileage records in the literatures related to Yuguan, and mountain or surface features surrounding, trying to clear an error of deeming Shanhai pass as ancient Yuguan, thus attempting to give reasonable explanations concerning different locations of Yuguan in each dynasty.
