We shall begin with abrief review of the historical background of Norway. And then examine how Norway had maintained itself between Denmark and Sweden. We then look into how Demark had given away Norway to Sweden. Next, we will explore the divergent views of national interests among the Norwegians themselves. Finally, we will describe the process how Norway had obtained its independence.
