The purpose of this descriptive study was to understand hyperthermia utilization in a nursing information system.A purposed sampling consisted of 87 patients fitting the criteria.Data were analyzed, using descriptive statistics and x2. The results of the study showed the average body temperature at 38.3 Centigrade degrees. The most frequent interventions used were ice bags (23%); observing vitals (21%); adjusting a cover and taking some medicine in order (12%) of 12 items. Of the 87 patients, there were 52 in the unmodified one, accounting for 59.8%; 35 had already revised, accounting for 40.2%.The results indicated a significance (p<.001)with revised intervention and connected to nursing record.The findings support the fever intervention fitted to user's demand.Furthermore, itwillmake it easier to carry out nursing informatics and evidence-based practice, thus improving the quality of patients' nursing care. |
