檔案典藏實務探討──以臺灣金屬礦業股份有限公司為例

A Study on the Practice of Archive Preservation: Taiwan Metal Mining Corporation as an Example

檔案是政府施政的重要稽憑證據，亦是社會發展的文史紀錄，具有保存國家社會及人民生活共同記憶的歷史價值，因此先進國家對於檔案都極為重視。檔案保存維護工作之落實，攸關檔案之存在與否，故至為重要，實為檔案管理工作之根本。國家檔案管理作業包括移轉、點收、上架保管、安全維護、檢調應用等各項單元，其中安全維護之工作重點在於維護檔案安全及完整，避免檔案受損、變質、消滅、失竊等，而採行之防護或對已受損檔案進行之修護；檔案保存維護以預防性措施為主要作為，乃現今各國普遍認同之概念，本文藉由臺灣金屬礦業股份有限公司檔案入庫典藏個案實例，分析檔案上架保管之處置流程與建議作為，俾供檔案典藏實務之參考。

Archives are crucial evidence to government administration, and are the history records of social development. They contain historical value of the nation, the society and the lives of its people. Therefore, developed countries value their archives highly. Archive preservation is the foundation of archive management because it directly affects the existence of archives. This article takes Taiwan Metal Mining Corporation as an example and provides the suggestions of archive preservation for future practice.
