Human history and culture were accumulated in archives, which recorded of the results of human thought and acticities for ages. -These evolution traces of the knowledge and experience in archives make human society proceed towards civilization. Archives can be used in social education arrcording to the distinctive uniqueness in history. The use of archives in culture and education has developed predominantly through archive exhibitions. Exhibitions satisfy the interests of citizens in their unique archival forms for public property that represent the right to know for citizens. As this year marks the centennial of the Republic of China, MOFA invited the National Palace Museum to jointly organise an archives exhibition - a Century of Resilient Tradition: Exhibition of the Republic of China's Diplomatic Archives. The precious MOFA documents on display have been categorized into five sections: Lesson of History, Striving for Equality, Retrocession of Taiwan, Era of Resilience, and Diplomatic Legacy. The exhibition were expected to attract visitors to appreciate how hard the Republic of China had struggled on diplomatic front for national freedom and equality. |
