檔案保存維護資源與作業現況分析

An Analysis of the Current Status of Archives Preservation Resources and Processes

檔案是國家紀錄重要的資產，有效的檔案維護措施可確保檔案紀錄留存後代繼續使用。本文首先介紹有關檔案保存維護技術與措施文獻，說明檔案保存維護的基本原則與觀念，並分述保存維護「預防性」的典藏環境要求與環境控制、應「經常性」進行之檔案保存維護政策與措施，以及一旦面臨損害需要進行「回復性」的修復處理，並輔以深度訪談研究法瞭解檔案典藏機構保存維護資源與作業現況，最終擬具有關檔案保存維護的結論與建議，提供檔案典藏機構相關業務參考。

Archives are important assets for the records of a country. Effective methods of preservation are essential to make archives accessible for future generations. This paper introduces related literature regarding operations and techniques of archive preservation for explaining the fundamental principles and concepts of preservation. The archive buildings and environmental control are the preventive issues of protections are discussed. Meanwhile, this study also discusses the regular issues of developing preservation policies and measures. However once the archives has deteriorated, repair and recovery must be done on time. In addition, in-depth interviews are conducted to investigate the current status of archival repository institutions. Finally, the conclusions and suggestions are proposed to archival repositories for reference.
