Arrangement and description are basic works of archives processing procedures.“Dutch Manual''published in Holland and also named 100 items of Holland, is the earliest publication to compile principles of arrangement and description of archives in the world. In addition, it proves the superiority of the principle of provenance and the theory of Fonds. This article reviews the origin and background of Dutch Manual, and studies its characteristics as well as structure. Finally, this article discusses the influence on archives management in Taiwan, Mainland China, UK and USA. |
