The purpose of this article is to explore a male Pey-ronie’s disease patient’s state of physiology and psychology prior of receiving corrective surgery. Subject patient suffers pain during erection, which subsequently leads to unsu-cessful sexual intercourse; these sexual dysfunction forces subject to consider surgical operation treatment. Through nursing subject patient; by talking, observing, and listening, the author was able to evaluate/analysis subject patient’s physiology and psychology. This analysis summed up few conditions, which points out issues that required to be addressed when treating subject patient with similar disease, Conditions such as body image change, sexual dysfunction, anxiety, uncomfortable, and high risk of potential disease infective. Knowing the conditions of the patient, the narrator was able to apply appropriate nursing practices towards the patient, which correctly addressed the patient’s needs, both mentally and physically.Because of this extra effort, subject patient was able to depart quickly, away from the haze created by this sexual blockage. |
