The health care system has suffered from a variety of threats such as: politics, economics, and macro-environment. Restructuring is a good innovative strategy to managers; however, the nature of change is a risky process. How to make a successful restructuring is a big challenge to managers. Shared governance will be a decent model for restructuring. The unit-based approach clearly demonstrated successful outcomes on nurses' perception of implementing shared governance in a Tainan community hospital. The introduction, implementing processes and ky factors of implementation, a preliminary report, and conclusion relating to the shared governance were addressed in this paper. |
