Nursing Care of Patients with Poisonous Snakebites

毒蛇咬傷的意外時有所聞，在臺灣有六種常見的毒蛇，因蛇毒成分之複雜，在治療毒蛇咬傷時，除了認識毒蛇的種類及給予正確的抗毒血清外，能早期發現及預防毒蛇咬傷的合併症亦很重要，而持續的護理及評估可完成此功能，使病患早日恢復健康。本文除了提供臺灣常見毒蛇的特徵、毒蛇咬傷的局部症狀及全身症狀、近年來對毒蛇咬傷病患的處理方向，還提供同仁如何判斷蛇毒擴散範圍的測量，期能對護理同仁在照護此類病患時有所幫助。

Snakebite accidents occur from time to time. There are six kinds of common seen poisonous snakes in Taiwan. In addition to knowing the classifications of poisonous snakes and giving the correct anti-venin, it is important to detect and prevent the complications of poisonous snakebites in advance. Continuous nursing care and assessment may achieve this goal and help the patients to recover sooner. This article discusses the characteristics of the commonly seen poisonous sakes in Taiwan, the local and systemic symptoms of poisonous snakebites, and the information about how to manage the poisonous snakebite patients. Further more, we also discuss how to detect the expansion of venom. It's our expectation that this article will be helpful for the nurses when taking care of poisonous snakebite patients.
